Assisted living is about maintaining your independence with the comfort of knowing help is there when needed most.
Assisted living the Avamere way is a little more than that. It’s also about helping our residents enjoy the day-to-day.
Fun at Avamere
One of the ways our communities do this is by hosting fun events for their residents (and sometimes even the local community). Avamere at Cheyenne in Las Vegas put on a fun dance, a sock hop, for their residents. They enjoyed chili cheese dogs and root beer floats, and some residents and staff even dressed up as the Pink Ladies!
Over at Avamere at Hermiston in Oregon, residents enjoy painting and weekly country drives where they enjoy stops at old homesteads, farms, and museums.
Down south in New Mexico, residents at Avamere at Rio Rancho enjoy Friday ice cream socials and excursions (including a beautiful view of the Sandia Mountains).
Avamere communities all over enjoy fun activities just like these that encourage residents to stay active both mentally and physically.
Leave the details to us
Avamere staff take care of the small details so residents can enjoy what matters most. Many of our communities offer transportation, weekly housekeeping, 24-hour staff, and emergency call systems to take burdens off the residents and their family members.
The Avamere way of assisted living is enhancing the life of every person we serve. This means every activity, every amenity, and every action is all about what our residents need and want. That’s why we say, “your life, our commitment.”
